I served just under a 4 year apprenticeship, nearly 14 years ago, at a well established studio in Hampshire, i am not one of these people who bought a machine of EBAY and think they can tattoo, unlike some shops I could name !. My studio does all types of tattooing, black and grey, colour, portraits etc. Generally I prefer doing black and grey work as it seems to look better to me.

After a number of years of working for other people and well known motorcycle clubs, i took the brave step of buying the studio I worked at, Tribaland. We’ve been established in the Sutton area now for nearly 8 years and we are the longest running studios in the area. Iam proud of the very good reputation my studio has earned. I have taught a number of people how to tattoo via a year long, unpaid apprenticeship.

On a personal note, I am a qualified Shotokan Karate Instructor where I used to teach in Woking, Surrey. I also was a Bodyguard and nightclub doorman but stopped that to concentrate on tattooing full time.

I always give 100% to my customers, whom most have returned for more tattoos and some have become friends of mine. You are very welcome to come to the studio for advice on getting a tattoo or piercing as there is a lot of bad information on such things out there – always take your time and check out the studios work as we are getting more and more people coming in asking us to cover-up extremely bad tattoos from other shops and even homes!!
